The Officers of INTECOL are delighted to learn that Professor Eun-Shik Kim, Secretary General of INTECOL, has recently been elected to serve as the New President of the Ecological Society of Korea from 2009 to 2010. The Officers and other Board members send Professor Kim our warmest congratulations on this honour and we wish him and the Ecological Society of Korea every success. We very much look forward to a continuing close co-operation between the Ecological Society of Korea and INTECOL in the coming years.
