The Officers and the whole Board of INTECOL are delighted to learn that Professor Dr. Wolfgang Haber of Germany, Professor Emeritus of the Technical University Munich, Germany and Past President of INTECOL, has been awarded the title of Albert Einstein Professor of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the highest honour that the Academy bestows on a foreign scholar.

Professor Dr. Haber is a most distinguished ecologist who has also worked extremely hard for INTECOL over many years including both before and after his presidency. We extend our warmest congratulations to him on this honour.
