The INTECOL Board is delighted to announce that Professor Eun-Shik Kim of Kookmin University, Korea has accepted the position of Secretary General in succession to Professor Almo Farina.
Eun-Shik will need no introduction to all those INTECOL members who attended the VIII International Congress of Ecology in Seoul. He played an outstanding part in ensuring the great success of the Congress. His commitment to INTECOL was further demonstrated when he agreed to become our webmaster late last year. While working as the Dean of the College of Forest Science, Kookmin University, he is serving as the Vice President of the Ecological Society of Korea and Editor for the Journal of the Society.
The Board is very much looking forward to continuing working with Eun-Shik and the other officers to promote INTECOL activities worldwide.
