| IX Montreal INTECOL Congress |
To Members and Supporters of INTECOL:
The International Association for Ecology (INTECOL) kindly invites you to participate in the IX International Congress of Ecology, to be held in Montreal, Canada, from 7-12 August, 2005. This Congress will be a joint meeting with the Ecological Society of America (ESA) and will be ESA's 90th Annual Meeting.
The theme for this joint International Meeting is: Ecology at multiple scales / Ecologie: une question d'echelles. The program will include a rich mixture of General Session Plenary Lectures, Symposia and Organized Oral Sessions, Contributed Oral and Poster Presentations, Workshops, Special Sessions, and Scientific Field Trips.

In the coming months, additional information regarding the program will be posted at the INTECOL website (www.intecol.net) and the ESA meeting website (www.esa.org/montreal).
You are also encouraged to join or renew your membership in INTECOL. During 2004 and early 2005, as INTECOL moves into a purely electronic system of communicating with members, membership will be free to all ecologists who register through the website.
