• Biodiversity Conservation, Biological Soil Crusts Research, Exploration of Bio-resources and its Utilization for Arid Zones with Special Reference to Algal Bio-resources and its Applications in the Arid Regions, Biodiversity Informatics Management of Biological Collections of Indian Arid Regions, Biodiversity Communications & Policy Issues (Advisory Member of Desert Botanical Garden being the Centre for Research and Livelihood Support (as one of the National Lead Garden of the Ministry of Environment and Forest, GOI & Network Garden of the Botanic Garden Conservation International, UK) located at ICAR-Central Arid Zone Research Institute, Jodhpur).
• Rural Livelihood Studies, Agro-biodiversity and Farm Sustenance, Range Management, Vegetation Ecology & Natural Resources Management and Monitoring: (as Scientist In-charge-Ecology, Biodiversity Conservation and Rural Livelihood Studies, ICAR-CAZRI, Jodhpur).
